Being raised on the border, Ciudad Juárez, México, and having dual Spaniard citizenship, I experienced a multicultural world, opening my mind to many design possibilities. At Savannah College of Art and Design, where I got my BFA, I learned how to use the Design Thinking Process.

A design focused mindset allows to think of creative and culturally adept possibilities for problem-solving.

It is my belief that due to my background in information architecture, user research, and mental models, I am able to bring to the table innovative and fresh ideas. As well, being culturally experienced in different regions gives me a fresh perspective by taking into consideration the adaption of design strategies to cultural particularities.

I am involved in the design community by writing blog posts and being a speaker. Becoming transparent and open about my experiences and sharing them with passionate people in my work field grants me complete satisfaction. 

I volunteer inside Microsoft as a chapter leader for the HOLA, an employee resource group for the hispanic/latin community, and as a leader for the creative women in my organization.
